Grades 6, 7 & 8
With our DiF Biggles groups we emphasize play-based learning, but really amp up the sophistication of the topics we explore and the developmental objectives we target. We may take on, for example, issues like personal privacy, human rights, or universal basic income and critically examine different perspectives. We’ll teach your child how to effectively form and share opinions while emphasizing the importance of empathy and active listening to others’ views. While debate-based games serve as our conversation container, we’re not aiming to create debaters. Our emphasis is on helping your child build lifelong developmental skills that matter. Skills like Empathy. Active Listening. Critical Thinking. Public Speaking and more. And in so doing, we’ll also address key milestones like emerging mindsets, values formation, and both group-based and individuated identity.
Our one and two day classes - the DiF Minis - give your child bite-sized, age appropriate topics like entrepreneurship, party politics, and global rights while employing skills like public speaking and perspective-taking. Our Multi-Week classes layer in more skills to meet more developmental milestones, and the weekly consistency really pays dividends you’ll notice. Either way, we have a class for your Biggle.
While all our classes are Virtual (for now!), our teachers are phenomenal at keeping kids focused while having fun. We’ll take breaks when needed and we’ll prove that Zoom Fatigue can be slayed! At Debate it Forward, we adamantly believe that it’s never too early to ‘learn how to learn,’ and we’d love to have the chance to work and play with your child.

The DiF-Ferral Program
You tell a friend about DIF, and let them know you’ll both get a discount if they sign up. When they insert your name on our registration form, we’ll issue you both a discount. And the more people that reference you, the more you save:

Flexible Pricing
Flexible Pricing Deposit - Our Flexible Pricing program allows parents who have difficulty paying full price to pay what they can. This Deposit option allows you to make a small down payment to secure your child’s spot in your selected DiF program. We’ll then follow up with you to discuss your need, validate it, and then work out what you’re able to pay.
